CoreStream Services LLC
Independent Oversight of Your Chemical Program
I work for the operator, not the chemical company.
CoreStream Services represents the producer's interests, providing independent evaluation of chemical program performance and cost, backed by more than twenty years in production chemistry across South, West and East Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, and the Gulf of Mexico shelf and deepwater.
Typical Engagements
Where independent oversight pays off
- Operators without a production or chemical engineer on staff, where the chemical provider is also the only party measuring program performance.
- Acquired assets carrying an inherited treating program that has not been independently reviewed.
- Workover, acid and refrac programs where the design, chemistry and vendor bids warrant technical review before the work is committed.
- Rising chemical cost per barrel without a measurable improvement in failure frequency, production or water handling.
- Recurring scale, corrosion, paraffin or emulsion problems where root cause has only been evaluated by the vendor's lab.
Services
What I do
-
01
Chemical Program Review Start here
An independent review of the issues you're treating, downhole and surface, the treatment itself, and how it's being monitored: KPIs, testing, and whether anyone is tracking results.
-
02
Completions and Workover Support
Review of workover, acid and refrac designs, chemicals, vendor bids and post-job results.
-
03
Program Oversight and Monitoring
Ongoing evaluation of treatment performance, with the chemical provider held accountable to measurable results.
-
04
Cost Analysis and Benchmarking
A clear breakdown of chemical cost per barrel, identifying inefficiency and opportunities for savings.
-
05
Treatment and Product Recommendations
Vendor-neutral guidance based on the specific demands of your wells and systems.
-
06
RFP Design and Bid Management
A structured, competitive bid process that confirms your program is correctly scoped and fairly priced.
-
07
Independent Failure Analysis
Failed equipment, deposits and fluid samples tested by an independent lab partner, not the chemical vendor's lab, with a root cause and a vendor-neutral fix.
Independent Failure Analysis
When something fails, the answer comes from an independent lab
- Step 1
Collect
Failed equipment, deposits and fluid samples, documented in the field.
- Step 2
Analyze
Testing by an independent lab partner, not the chemical vendor's lab.
- Step 3
Resolve
Root cause and a vendor-neutral recommendation to prevent a repeat.
You get an unbiased answer on what failed and why, from a lab with no product to sell.
How It Works
Pick the services you need, at the frequency that fits
I scope each engagement to your operation. You choose the services and how often I review them.
One-time review
A defined scope with a confidential findings summary: gaps, savings opportunities and clear next steps.
Monthly or quarterly oversight
Recurring evaluation of treatment performance and cost, measured against agreed KPIs.
As needed
When a problem comes up: a failure, a bid, or a job design that needs an independent review.
Start with one service and add what makes sense for your operation.
About
Brandon Chapman, Principal
I have spent more than 25 years in oil and gas and more than 20 in production chemistry, working programs across South, West and East Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, and the Gulf of Mexico shelf and deepwater.
Before CoreStream Services, I started a chemical company and ran it through to its sale. I know how chemical programs are designed, priced and serviced from the provider's side, and I now apply that on the operator's side of the table.
Based in Lafayette, Louisiana.
